Pharmacy Technical Training prepares students to take the national exam with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board.
The Governor’s Emergency Education Relief (GEER) Funds Scholarship is available for this program.
This class provides the knowledge and skills needed to perform as a pharmacy technician under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. Topics of study include the effects of medication on body systems, daily preparation and distribution of drugs, pharmacy law, vocabulary and calculations.
A high school diploma or GED must be presented at registration.
The Cuylar A. Dunbar (CAD) building is located on the CVCC main campus.
$180 plus textbook. 128 class hours and 80 online hours.
Seated classes will meet on the East Campus. Class will meet on Saturdays, 9/18, 10/30 and 12/11 from 8:00 am - 2:30 pm
