JCE addresses chemical content, activities, laboratory experiments, instructional methods, and pedagogies.

Films on Demand Video Collection offers access to quality streaming video with an emphasis on academic topics. Content provided includes Oscar, Emmy, and Peabody award winning documentaries, interviews, how-to videos and newsreels.

NC LIVE offers free electronic access to resources for all ages on topics ranging from careers, business, and investing, to auto repair, health, history, and genealogy. NC LIVE resources are available to all North Carolinians through their local public, community college, or academic library.
NC LIVE eBook Portal provides access to over 20,000 eBooks in the NC LIVE collection.
NCPedia provides information about the state of North Carolina including its history, people, and government.

ProQuest Biological Science Database includes research on many topics related to biological science such as animal behavior, plant science, microbiology, and more.
ProQuest Central is a general reference database for over 175 subjects. Items provided include peer-reviewed and scholarly works.
ProQuest Education Database includes research on primary, secondary, and higher education. Related topics include special education and home schooling.
ProQuest Health and Medical Collection includes clinical and consumer health research as well as information for health care administrators.
ProQuest Nursing and Allied Health Database offers journals and dissertations covering nursing, allied health, and alternative medicine.
ProQuest Psychology Database includes articles in the areas of clinical and social psychology, communication, addiction, neurology, and more.
ProQuest Research Library is a general reference database that includes materials from scholarly journals, trade publications, and magazines.

It is part of a comprehensive database that includes a downloadable mobile app, a recent edition of Stedman’s Medical Dictionary, alerts relating to evidence-based practice, and med news from Reuters.
