YMCA FAQs
May I bring a guest? Sure. Just pay a $10 visitor pass and bring a friend. Each guest will need to sign a waiver, and must be 18 years of age. If under 18, an adult must sign the waiver.
Can I take my child to Child Watch while I work out? Yes. You’re required to pay a $10 guest pass fee to do so. The Child Watch is available from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Monday - Saturday, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM Monday - Thursday for ages 6 weeks to 8 years old.
Does my student membership give me access to the swimming pools? Yes! Please refer to the pool schedule for activities and open swim times.
Does my membership include exercises classes, like Zumba and yoga? Yes.
What if I’m not taking classes this summer and still want to work out at the Y? Your membership remains active through the summer until the start of the fall semester.
Do CVCC Continuing Education students receive the same benefit? Not at this time.
Do CVCC employees receive the same benefit? No.
Do I have free admission to YMCAs outside Catawba County? No.
