Mr. Shane Hamby was born and raised in Hudson, North Carolina. He holds an AAS in Turfgrass Management from Catawba Valley Community College, a BA in History from Montana State University, and an MA in History from Western Carolina University. Hamby currently teaches in the Turfgrass Management Program and aspires to Shane Hamby someday teach history at the high school and/or community college level.
