Automotive Systems
The Automotive Systems Technology curriculum prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to repair, service, and maintain all types of automobiles.
Our Automotive Systems Technology program is accredited by the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Education Foundation.
The accreditation was earned at the higher level of Master Automobile Service Technology. To achieve this recognition, our school training program underwent a rigorous evaluation by ASE of our instruction, facilities, and equipment.
The Automotive Systems Technology curriculum prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to repair, service, and maintain all types of automobiles. Includes instruction in brake systems, electrical systems, engine performance, engine repair, suspension and steering, automatic and manual transmissions and drive trains, and heating and air condition systems.
Classroom and lab experiences integrate technical and academic course work. Course work may include transportation systems theory, braking systems, climate control, design parameters, drive trains, electrical/electronic systems, engine repair, engine performance, environmental regulations, materials, product finish, safety, steering/suspension, transmission/transaxle, and sustainable transportation, depending on the program major area chosen.
Our students get to measure their skills against students at other colleges. We have won many regional and state championships in the SkillsUSA competition.
Our program is accredited by the ASE Education Foundation. That means you’ll get the most up-to-date training endorsed by major automotive manufacturers.
