The Center for Student Excellence and Leadership
You don’t have to be a perfect student to be an excellent student.
The Center for Student Excellence and Leadership exists to nurture and support the academic excellence and creative work of CVCC students. It is committed to helping students gain the knowledge and skills they need to live a life of purpose. Students of integrity who are determined, motivated and committed to their goals may benefit from plans and initiatives the center has to offer academically, now and in the future. Whatever your degree choice or career plans, we support and encourage your desire to excel in the classroom!
You entered to learn. Exit to lead.
Through the leadership programs the center incorporates, students are challenged to discover the abilities they have to lead effectively in a rapidly changing world. The Student Leadership Academy, CVCC Diplomats Program and the free seminars provided by the Phi Theta Kappa advisors encourage students to be visible and active on campus, grow in their community service and social responsibility and develop the confidence to assume leaderships roles in and out of the classroom. The skills developed at CVCC will stay with you a lifetime. Whether you are a first semester student or graduation is a semester away, the Center for Student Excellence and Success has something for you!
