DIRECTIONS TO CVCC MAIN CAMPUS FROM I-40
Traveling West on I-40 from Statesville and other points East
- Exit I-40 at Exit #126.
- Turn left at top of exit ramp onto McDonald Parkway. (This is a four-lane street that becomes five lanes as you proceed toward the second traffic light.)
- Merge into a left turning lane. (There are two lanes that turn left.)
- Turn left at the third traffic light onto US Hwy 70E, and merge or continue in the outside lane (the one farthest to the right).
- At the next (first) traffic light on US Hwy 70E, turn right onto CVCC's main campus (directly across from Exxon gas station and Wal-Mart).
Traveling East on I-40 from Morganton and other points West
- Exit I-40 at Exit #126.
- Turn right at top of exit ramp onto McDonald Parkway. (This is a four-lane street that becomes five lanes as you proceed toward the second traffic light.)
- Merge into a left turning lane. (There are two lanes that turn left.)
- Turn left at the second traffic light onto US Hwy 70E, and merge or continue in the outside lane (the one farthest to the right).
- At the next (first) traffic light on US Hwy 70 E, turn right onto CVCC's main campus (directly across from Exxon gas station and Wal-Mart).
There is a large sign near the handicapped parking lot with information about the location of various buildings on the Main Campus.
To reach the CVCC East Campus from the Main Campus
- Continue East (straight) on US Hwy 70E for about ¼ mile. Turn right at the second traffic light from CVCC (just past Northern Tool) and park behind Northern Tool and in front of the white East Campus building. There are signs out front indicating specific agencies and signs inside to help you find specific rooms.
