Dr. John F. Sinnett Scholarship by the Newton-Conover Rotary Club
The Dr. John F. Sinnett Scholarship is established by the Newton-Conover Rotary Club to
honor Dr. John F. Sinnett for his contributions to Rotary International. Rotary International is an
organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide, who provide humanitarian service,
encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. There
are approximately 1.2 million Rotarians, members of more than 29,000 Rotary Clubs in 161 countries.
Dr. Sinnett has served as a member of the Newton-Conover Rotary Club in all capacities
of leadership and has served as District Governor. As the Newton-Conover Rotary Club moves into the next
century, Dr. Sinnett continues to exemplify "Service Above Self," the basis for which Rotary
International was organized. A scholarship in honor of Dr. Sinnett will enable and encourage students to
