Frances E. Setzer Scholarship Endowment

Frances E. Setzer was a lady of considerable prominence and an individual who believed in Catawba County, the people of Catawba County, and the welfare of Catawba County. Funds for the endowment were provided by the Frances E. Setzer Estate.

Award

The award is $500 for tuition, fees, insurance and books.

Criteria for Selection

The recipient must possess the following:

• Potential to successfully complete a diplomja in a one year vocational program or a degree in a two year technical or college transfer program.
• Attend CVCC on a full-time basis.

Other Criteria

One scholarship will be provided for each of the seven high schools in Catawba County and recommendations for recipients may be made by representatives of each high school.
