Tech Prep

Welcome to the Tech Prep home page. As the name implies, Tech Prep is designed to prepare students for technical occupations. Students enter the Tech Prep program while in high school, taking courses designed towards a career of interest. These courses can then be transferred to Catawba Valley Community College or other colleges of choice, as long as the student enrolls in the selected institution within two years of completing high school and if a B average and a raw score of 80 or higher on the standardized VoCATS post assessment was achieved.
