Funeral Service Education

The Funeral Service Education curriculum provides students with the opportunity to aquire the funeral service education necessary to become proficient in basic funeral service skills.

North Carolina Funeral Director Program is in conjunction with Fayetteville Technical Community College's Funeral Service Education curriculum. This certification is required for directors of funeral homes. Graduates of this program will qualify to take the N.C. Funeral Director's Examination. In addition to passing the state examination a one year internship must be completed at a N.C. funeral home to be awarded a funeral director's license. All courses may be taken on the CVCC campus.
