The clinical radiology suite has five conventional intraoral units and a panorex. Two of the operatories can be used for patient screening also. At the end of the hall is the radiology teaching room.

The CVCC Dental Hygiene Facility, built in 1999, is located on the main campus on College Drive South, across from CVCC's Multipurpose Complex. The front entrance to the Dental Hygiene Facility is through the reception area, a light bright place and home of our department secretary. The front classroom seats 24 and attaches to the dental science lab area. A generous gift provided a laboratory space for dental materials and anatomy studies.
A larger classroom at the back of the facility has adequate seating for both classes at the same time. The open clinic has three bays of six operatories. It's a really comfortable space for patients, students, and faculty. The sterilization area features a good traffic flow and lots of storage areas. In addition to the two autoclaves here, we have a Magnaclave in the storage room for sterilization of gowns and other bulk loads. The clinical instructor station provides access to the computer grading system. The clinical radiology suite has five conventional intraoral units and a panorex. Two of the operatories can be used for patient screening also. At the end of the hall is the radiology teaching room. The radiology teaching area allows students to individually view films in a comfortable setting under good lighting conditions. Student locker facilities are at the rear of the building, allowing convenient access to the CVCC Multipurpose Facility Weight Room, Running Track, and Tennis Courts.
