Raising the Bar on Technology Training
Mechatronics combines the knowledge of mechanics, electricity, electronics and computers into an integrated hands-on, skills-based curriculum.
Automated manufacturers use sophisticated mechanical equipment that integrates electrical systems, electronic components and computer technology. CVCC’s new Mechatronics Program will help individuals develop or expand skills in all these areas, making them more versatile to their employers and expanding their marketability in a tough job market.
The program includes instruction in industrial mechanics, fluid power, industrial electricity, programmable logic controllers, motor controls, and process controls. Three levels of certification will be available, each 144 hours in length.
