General Contractors Prelicensing Prep
This course is a review of the laws, codes and procedures covered by the General Contractor's License Examination for commercial construction. This classification includes the construction for all commercial, industrial, individual, and multi-family construction.
CVCC offers this course as a service to prepare students for the state exam. It is offered twice in the Fall Semester and twice in the Spring Semester for 8 weeks, 2 sessions per week on Monday and Thursday evenings, 6-9pm. Previous construction experience is required in order to fully participate in this course. The cost of the course is $120. For more information about this licensing exam go to www.nclbgc.net.
