Each course runs for 6 weeks and consists of 12 lessons. Interactive quizzes, assignments, tutorials, and online discussion areas available via the World Wide Web supplement the lessons. Read your lessons, do assignments and quizzes, and ask questions of your instructor at the times most convenient to you.
All you need to get started is Internet access and a Web browser. Additional requirements, if any, will be listed with the course description.

Instructor Information and Course Outlines are available on the above web site. Students who complete all assignments and the open-book final exam will be eligible to receive a letter of completion off the Internet.
TO REGISTER FOR ONLINE COURSES: Since CVCC is not able to accept online registration at this time, you must register at the Continuing Education Office at East Campus in person, or if you are using a credit card for registration, you can call our office and register over the phone, (828) 327-7000 ext. 4116. Please mention that you want to register for an online course. Registration fees must be prepaid for each course within 2 days of the start of the course.
Important: Before you can access your online course, you must complete an online Orientation at the above web site. This takes only a couple of minutes.
