Homegrown Teaching Scholars participate in a range of exciting activities and events geared for the development of top-knotch educators. Activities include:
Local and regional educators and upper-level Homegrown Teaching Scholars lead educational workshops. Scholars participate in spirited discussions of "the good the bad and the ugly" of teaching. The one-day event takes place on the campus of CVCC in mid-August each year.
Hop aboard as Homegrown Teaching Scholars travel across the state to visit historical, governmental, and cultural locations. Hands-on learning at its best!
