FAFSA Application Target Dates

| March 1, 2012 |
Priority 1 deadline for new students who complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the admission application and for current students who renew the FAFSA by this date will have priority consideration for federal or state aid. All requested documentation must be submitted to the Financial Aid Office within two weeks after the CVCC email is received from the Financial Aid Office. |
| March 15, 2012 | Priority 2 deadline for the summer semester 2012. Students who complete the FAFSA and admission application or renew the FAFSA by this deadline will be processed as second priority and will know of financial aid eligibility prior to the first day of fall classes. All requested documentation must be submitted to the Financial Aid Office within two weeks after the CVCC email is received from the Financial Aid Office. |
| NOTE: Students who apply after the March 15, 2012 deadline or who
have not provided all of the requested documentation are responsible for
paying tuition and fees, books and supplies out of pocket. You will be
reimbursed at a later date, if eligible. |

Priority 3 deadline for fall semester 2012. New students who Complete the FAFSA and admission application or renew the FAFSA by this deadline will be processed as third priority behind the first two groups of applicants. All requested documentation must be submitted to the Financial Aid Office within two weeks after the CVCC email is received from the Financial Aid Office. |

If you do not have your federal tax forms, you may call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040 to request a tax transcript for the return and W-2’s. Please allow two weeks for transcripts to be delivered.
