General Education Core Courses
The NC Community College System and the North Carolina University System have developed a general education core transfer component. Theses core courses include humanities and fine arts, social and behavioral sciences, natural sciences and mathematics, and English composition. Students must meet the receiving university's foreign language and/or health and physical education requirements, if applicable, prior to or after transfer to the senior institution.
