A photo ID is required for service. A parent, sibling or friend cannot appear on behalf of the student to process applications. Note: New student applications are not processed on school holidays or any CVCC registration day.
Proof of prerequisite coursework/transcripts
Many courses require prerequisites in reading, English, math and computer literacy. Consult the CVCC Course Catalog for particulars. Bring copies of your current college transcripts or SAT/ACT scores as proof of prerequisites. You may not register for CVCC courses without appropriate prerequisites, either completed or currently in progress, and cited on your transcripts. Grades of "F" or "I" or "W" in prerequisite coursework are not accepted.Consult with your home institution before you register at CVCC
CVCC is not responsible for transfer credit at another school, so make sure any classes you take will transfer.Taking summer school at CVCC to raise a GPA at your home institution? If you have earned a grade of "F" at your home college or university, repeating that class at a community college will not replace the "F" on your transcript. You must repeat failing grades at the school where that grade was earned.
