College Transfer

Revised 03.27.2014

Qualified high school juniors and seniors may enroll in either the Career and College Promise College Transfer Pathway Leading to the Associate in Arts or the Career and College Promise College Transfer Pathway Leading to the Associate in Science.

The Career and College Promise College Transfer Pathway Leading to the Associate in Arts is designed for high school students who wish to begin study toward the Associate in Arts degree and a baccalaureate degree in a non-STEM major.

The Career and College Promise College Transfer Pathway Leading to the Associate in Science is designed for high school students who wish to begin study toward the Associate in Science degree and a baccalaureate degree in a STEM or technical major.

The Career and College Promise College Transfer Pathways allow qualified high school juniors and seniors to complete up to 35 semester hours credit (SHC) tuition free.  Classes identified in the Career and College Transfer Pathways will tranfer seamlessly (with a course grade of C or higher) to any North Carolina public university as well as participating private colleges/universities.
