We want to thank our campus family for all of the help and support we have received during this year's Seeds of Service "CVCC Cares for A Cause" Fundraiser. With your help we raised $3,000.00 for the CVCC Diabetes Education Center and the GIMI Ugandan Health Clinic.

There are a great number of people worldwide who do not have access to quality healthcare. With the generous support of people like you, we will be able to help many of these families and individuals not only in Catawba County, but worldwide. Our first funds recipient is the CVCC Diabetes Care Center. The Care Center provides education, tools and support to those in our community who would otherwise go without diabetes care. The Diabetes Education Center is staffed by CVCC Nursing Faculty Coleen Burgess and Sharon Jimison. Funds donated will also be used to support the GIMI Ugandan Health Clinic. The Ugandan Health Clinic staff will provide healthcare to citizens in Uganda. This will include routine health care as well as specialized treatment for diseases like malaria.
