Emergency Medical Science (Paramedic) 

In 1982 the first Associate Degree paramedics graduated from CVCC. Since that time tremendous advancements have occurred in the program here at CVCC and in the EMS profession. Paramedics have become an integral part of the health system in America and vital in the emergency services that every citizen expects.

Newer and more sophisticated skills have been added to paramedic responsibilities over these past few decades and salaries and career opportunities are growing. There are over 1,000,000 EMS professionals delivering care in the United States.

The EMS program here at CVCC has been Nationally Accredited since 1985 and strives to maintain excellence in educating our future paramedics. If you are interested in a health care profession that is non-traditional, working with a team including fire, rescue, law enforcement look to us and become one of our “Heroes in the Making”.

Fire Protection Technology
The Fire Protection Technology curriculum is intended to offer individuals professional and technical knowledge to make decisions regarding fire protection for both private and public domain. It provides a stable foundation for continuous higher learning in fire protection, administration and management as well.
