Come and join us for a fun class in flower design! This class is for the beginner and this flower arranging class will teach principles and elements of flower design using fresh and silk flowers. The end product of this course will be a design of a new landscape or renovation of an old one. The design aspect will help the student understand how a good landscape works through site analysis, general use of space, understanding basic theories and then putting it all together. Sketching out their design will give the homeowner a visual game plan to work by to make their home more attractive and inviting.

In this 6-week class, students will learn the different types of nurseries that provide plants for the green industry. Production of four methods: bare-root, ball and bur lapped, container and pot in pot will be discussed. Understanding these four main types can help an aspiring nurserymen look at ways to grow new crops. It can also show a homeowner or landscaper which plants will work better for their site.
