Sewing-Level I-Beginning

Sewing-Level II-Beginning

This is a continuation of Beginning Sewing I. Students will learn to choose and buy a simple pattern and make a vest, skirt, pants, or pajamas. Students will sew their items using straight and curved seams. Sewing machines are provided, but students are welcome to bring their own if they choose. Sewing-T-shirt Quilting

This class will teach the student how to prepare and sew T-shirts into a lightweight quilt. You will need to bring 12 to 20 of your own shirts. All that will be needed for the first night will be the shirts and stabilizer. Also needed will be lightweight stabilizer, a coordinating fabric for borders, batting and backing for the quilt. Some stabilizer will be available for purchase on the first night of class.
