Bread Making-Introduction

Whether you are just learning to cook or are very experienced, baking classes can be a great way to hone your skills and learn new ones. This course will provide an introduction to bread basics, yeast rolls, basic white bread, zucchini bread, cinnamon rolls, pita bread, sourdough starter, braided bread, and Stromboli. Supplies are included in the registration fee.

Canning and Preserving-Introduction

Learn about the tradition of canning and preserving, how to get started, deciding what to can and preserve, water bath and pressure canning, tools of the trade, and how to make jams, jellies, and condiments. You will also learn about the importance of reducing the safety risks with canning. This class will inspire you to spend your spring, summer and fall canning and preserving!
