An Eye for Photography (Rising 5th - 7th Graders)

Make your memories last a lifetime! Explore a hobby that can last a lifetime and even branch into an exciting career. This class will introduce students to digital photography and image manipulation. Photographic techniques, camera operations, and editing using Photoshop will be covered as well. Students must bring a digital camera to class.

You will apply baking techniques to make your own cupcakes and cake pops and learn to use different decorating tools. Learning with Legos® (Rising 3rd & 4th Graders)

Students will be involved in a wonderful adventure using LEGO® blocks and books in this class. They will be learning while putting together fun and exciting projects with LEGO's®. This class will be entertaining and educational! Writing, vocabulary, details, comprehension and higher-order thinking skills will be covered in innovative ways!

Masterpiece Production Using GarageBand (Rising 4th-6th Graders)

Get ready to melt some faces! You will get an introduction to the software program, Garage Band and IMovie. Learn about the creative process as well as the basics of video and music production. You can record your own videos and create music that can be incorporated into your video project. By the end of the week, you will share your video/music project with each other. We ask each student to bring a USB flash drive (4 GB minimum). Rock on!

Microsoft Office for Students (Rising 5th - 7th Graders)

This class, taught by Microsoft Certified Specialist Colton Lidey, is designed to teach students to effectively use Microsoft Office both at home and at school. Students of all ages need to be able to prepare book reports, presentations, graphs and charts. This class will give your child the computer skills they need so they can focus on the project rather than the mechanics. Proficiency in these skills will become crucial as your child progresses through middle school and high school.

Performing Arts Adventure Camp (Rising 3rd-5th Graders)

In this fast paced and fun class, young actors will have the chance to explore all aspects of theatre including: creation of character, improvisation, stage makeup, puppetry, and more! Participants will have plenty of opportunity to "perform" in short informal scenes throughout the week. The last day will end with a "sharing" to which family and friends will be invited. Come out and have some fun!
