Reviewing math, reading and writing, the student will receive a strong review for a better foundation. This will provide a positive platform to face the many challenges and adventures of the upcoming school year. This is an all day camp so we ask that each student bring two snacks and a lunch each day for this camp.

ReDOable/ReUSEable (Ages 8-11)

Old t-shirts, cereal containers, and shopping bags all sound like trash. What do you do with them? Turn them into artful, useful objects, of course! In this class, students will learn new ways of using things that would normally be thrown out, determined by what they SEE in objects commonly called "trash". Students will use art skills, imagination, and some simple math to make fun and interesting projects: a carrying case, cool messenger bag, creative book covers your friends will love, and more! Each class will conclude with a student presentation and gallery walk where students will be able to look more closely at each other's projects, ask questions, and, of course, teach each other about what they have created!
