Certified Nurse Assistant I
Upon successful completion, student will be eligible to apply for the state exam to be listed on the DHSR NA I Registry. Current US government issued, signature bearing photo ID must be presented at registration. Successful completion of Pathways to CNA and placement test are required to register. Certified Nurse Assistant II
The CNA II Program provides training in more complex skills for working with patients or residents regardless of the setting. Persons successfully completing the course may register with the NC Board of Nursing for certification. Required at registration: High School diploma or GED, be listed as a CNA I on the North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry, and have the equivalent of 3 months full-time work experience as a CNA I, have a current CPR card and driver’s license or US government-issued photo ID.
