  1. How and where do I pay for tuition?
    Tuition is payable online or in the CVCC Business Office immediately following registration. Tuition may be paid by cash, check, debit card, major credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express) or payment plan. There is a fee to utilize the payment plan. Financial Aid is not available for visiting Students. The Business Office is unable to accept credit card payment via the telephone.
  2. Textbooks are not covered by tuition and may be purchased or rented at The Campus Store located in the Student Center.
  3. How do I get a CVCC transcript?
    Official transcripts may be ordered at a cost of $5.00 each.
  4. What do I need to know about advising?
    Visiting students are not assigned a CVCC academic advisor. Students must determine in advance which courses to take. The Advising Center, located in the lower level of the Student Services building, will assist students with registration.
  5. How do I set up my e-mail account?
    A CVCC email account will be created for students usually within 5 days after meeting with an Admissions staff member. Other online services are available at the Student Portal/Self Service. Contact the CVCC Helpdesk with questions at (828) 327-7000, ext. 4444 or
  6. Do I need a hang tag for parking and does it cost anything?
    Parking hang tags are required if the student is taking classes on campus. Parking Permits are available at the Student Services reception desk and in the Advising Center.
