Customer Service Certification Courses


The JobsNow program is offering two new Customer Service Certification courses to help individuals prepare for employment as quickly as possible.  


The first available class is scheduled for Feb. 28 through March 4, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.


The second class will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays, March 15 through 29, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.


Part of Gov. Beverly Perdue’s JobsNOW program, these short-term employment training classes are funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.


Individuals will also receive training to prepare and earn their North Carolina Career Readiness Certificate through the Human Resources Development Department at CVCC.


The training is available to those who have lost their jobs due to recent layoffs or plant closures and other job seekers. JobsNOW training is open to any individual paying tuition. But job-seekers who qualify may receive financial assistance.
